“Comfortably Numb” is a song by Pink Floyd about a comrade who is in a coma from a drug overdose.  I named my blog after that song as a metaphor of the U.S. today in which there is voter apathy, people who are disinterested in the world around them, and people who fail to see or understand the agendas of the leaders and forces shaping ourselves and the country - a numbness to the world around them.  So if you are interested in waking up, or want to contribute to help wake others – welcome!
